Ayodeji Ademola, FCIArb. (UK)
Partner

Ayo was admitted to the Nigeria Bar over twenty-two (22) years ago. He is the managing partner of Ademola & Ademola and his practice is largely devoted to complex corporate and commercial transactions, litigation and energy law. He has represented clients on a broad range of contracts and investment law practice before trial and appellate courts. Ayo started his practice with Adeshina Oke & Associates and later proceeded to the law firm of Ajumogobia & Okeke, a leading commercial and energy law firm in Nigeria where he acquired considerable experience in law of contract, energy, corporate and commercial litigation. While at Ajumogobia & Okeke, he had exquisite exposure to a number of international and local clientele which include governments and non-government organizations, individual, corporate bodies, financial institutions, oil companies and insurance companies amongst others. He is one of the founding member of Ademola & Ademola.

Ayo also deals in a broad range of business and corporate matters. He has participated in many merger and acquisition transactions and regularly represents aggressively growing companies that finance growth through creative use of private and public markets. He is currently serving on numerous corporate boards.

Abiola Ademola, MCIArb. (UK)
Partner

Abiola was admitted to the Nigeria Bar in 2004. She is a partner in the firm and an integral part of the litigation and arbitration group of the firm. Abiola has also represented client on a broad range of insolvency law practice, martime transactions, loan securitization before trial and appellate courts in Nigeria. She was actively involved in civil and commercial litigation up to the appellate courts. She joined the law firm of Dr. St. Matthew Daniel, Balogun & Co. between 2005-2009 where she acquired considerable experience in litigation especially in the area of commercial and banking practice. She is a co-founder of the law firm of Ademola & Ademola. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and student member of the chartered institute of Secretary and Administration.

Vera Leslie
Associate Partner

Vera was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2004 and immediately joined the commercial and banking practice of Seun Olokeogun & Co. Thereafter, she had a taste of the public sector when she joined the High Court of Justice as a Senior Registrar in 2006. She left the public service to join Ademola & Ademola in 2009. Vera is a major on the evaluation of technical requirements on issues relating to capital ratio requirements, risk management and securitization, secured credit loans, credit lines, project financing and corporate financing.

Bamidele Jacobs
Associate Partner

Admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2005 and immediately joined the firm of Fashakin & Fashakin where he engaged in extensive litigation practice for three years. He later moved to the law firm of Ola Okunomo & Co. where he gathered experience in General and Corporate practice. In 2011, Bamidele joined the law firm of Ademola & Ademola. A product of the premire University of Ibadan, Bamidele was a lecture (part-time) at the Polytechnic, Ibadan Oyo state before joining the law firm of Ademola & Ademola. Bamidele possesses a Higher National Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees among other qualifications.

Ovie Oyaigbevwen
Senior Associate

Admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2007, Ovie is a Senior Associate in the Energy & Corporate Finance Department of the firm. He has extensive experience advising on projects in the oil & gas and corporate finance sectors, and his practice spans the development, construction, documentation and financing of these projects. Ovie also specializes in oil & gas exploration and development, oil mining leases, supply and installation contracts for the installation of offshore installation works (including risers, flow line sections along with an umbilical), drilling contract and local content related matters. He has helped foreign investors conduct due diligence checks on oil companies in the country for the purpose of acquisition of shares.

Education: University of Benin, Benin City Edo State; work: in the Cowries prospecting Company Limited as Legal Adviser and Company Secretary from 2008-2009; Ademola & Ademola since 2009. Member: Nigerian Bar Association.

Ezinne Chinonso Orji
Associate

Admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2013; Ezinne is an Associate in the Commercial Department of the firm. She is a formidable attorney with a brilliant legal mind. She has worked in various jurisdictions across the country and has garnered enviable experience in advising on divestment of interests and conducting due diligence in pursuant of mergers and acquisitions by multi-national companies.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Paraculeta Chinwe Anyanwu
Associate

Chinwe was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015. She started her practice at the Ondo State Ministry of Justice before she proceeded to the law firm of Paul Ananaba SAN & Co in Lagos State where she acquired relevant knowledge in litigations, debt recovery and other aspects of law. She is responsible for the day to day running of the Debt Recovery Department of our firm and ensuring that the department runs smoothly and effectively so that she and her team can live up to our Legendary Client Service ethos. Chinwe maintains close contact with all our clients and she is able to offer and implement advice on the most cost effective to recover monies due to our clients.

Chinwe is an experienced member of our Debt Recovery Team and also specializes in enforcement of judgments. She is also a Legal Consultant to the Nigeria Police Cooperative Multi-purpose Society Limited.

Anthony Ameachi Ojukwu
Associate

Anthony is a commercial litigation and debt recovery solicitor who has undertaking a range of High Court and Court of Appeal proceedings in the area of debt recovery as well as disputes of a contractual nature for a range of companies and governments and government agencies including those in the construction and infrastructure development in general, estate agency, recruitment and information technology sectors.

Anthony also undertakes insolvency work relating to both corporate and personal and he is experienced in alternative dispute Resolution, particularly mediation. He heads the firm’s Commercial Debt Recovery unit and fixed-fee business debt recovery service. Anthony works as part of litigation lawyers who provide clients with a prompt, efficient and commercially focused service in the firm.
